Seminar ‘Low-frequency electromagnetic fields and health, results of 4 years of research by BBEMG’ [1]
Date: Thursday, November 20, 2025 - 10:00 to 12:30
Description
Sciensano, together with Belgian academic partners, is organising the Belgian BioElectroMagnetics Group (BBEMG) seminar dedicated to electromagnetic fields, agriculture and health.
Since 1995, the BBEMG has brought together experts from Sciensano, HOGENT, ULiège, UGent and ULB as part of a multidisciplinary programme to understand the effects of electromagnetic fields (50 Hz) on plants, animals and human health.
During the seminar, the most important results of the past four years of research and the new projects will be presented.
