Abstract:

Counterfeit medicines pose a major threat topublic health worldwide. These pharmaceuticals aremostly manufactured without respecting Good ManufacturingPractices. Moreover, they are not subjected to anyform of quality control, and therefore their safety, efficacy,and quality cannot be guaranteed.
