Jean-Baptiste Hanon

Jean-Baptiste Hanon graduated in 1995 from the University of Liège (ULg, Belgium) as a Doctor in veterinary medicine and in 2010 as MSc in epidemiology at the Ecole nationale vétérinaire d’Alfort (ENVA, France). He worked as field veterinary practitionner, as researcher and as international consultant in animal health, epidemiology and food security in developping countries. He started in 2010 at CODA-CERVA (Sciensano’s predecessor) as a scientist at the virology and at the epidemiology department. Currently he is in charge of applied research studies in animal epidemiology and veterinary diagnostic related to cattle.
