Initiating and supporting high quality interventional studies and independent research
The Platform for interventional studies initiates and supports high quality interventional studies (participants receive interventions to assess their effects on health) and independent research in collaborative projects.
Our unit helps preparing submissions to ethics committees and competent authorities, designing and coordinating data and sample collection in REDCap (secure web application for building and managing online surveys and databases).
We ensure complete traceability through SLIMS (Sample Lab Management Software). We also provide training and assist with data analysis, from sample size calculation to advanced statistics and machine learning.
Through our projects on immune responses to SARS-CoV-2 and other infectious or immune-mediated diseases, we actively contribute to advance public health and strengthen pandemic preparedness.
