Immunofluorescence test for the detection of IgG and IgM antibodies.
Purpose of the test
Diagnosis
Criteria for performing this test
- Clinical suspicion (billing according to RIZIV nomenclature)
- Always indicate the interval between the onset of symptoms and sample collection on the request form.
Instructions for the sample
- Serum
- Minimum amount: 1 ml
- Store at 4°C
Instructions for transport
- Samples can be shipped at room temperature.
- Transit time should be kept as short as possible (Avoid transport during weekends or holidays)
Unacceptable application
Analyses cannot be performed in case of insufficient sample

Average: 10 days
Reporting of test results
The report will be sent by fax, post or e-mail
