These bilateral workshops are organised to enhance collaboration between both institutes and favor joint research projects. While Sciensano is more focused on public health, our colleagues at IP Lille are strong in translational research and development of diagnostic tools. Therefore, we foresee ample synergies between our institutes, waiting to be explored. Hence, the AMR workshop is the first in a series, followed by one on air quality and one on ageing (both still in preparation).
