Just one year ago, on April 1st 2018, Sciensano was born. This first anniversary is the perfect opportunity to highlight some of the flagship projects and publications that marked the year 2018.
Sciensano advocates a holistic, multidisciplinary and integrated approach of health. Through concrete programs, our institution implements the ‘One Health concept’, whereby human health, animal health and the environment are intrinsically linked.
This retrospective provides an overview of our successes and reflects the ambitions of Sciensano as a scientific institute of excellence.
