Indoorpol: Mycology of the indoor environment

Request a survey  Equipment rental  Training

We spend most of our time indoors. It is important for our health that indoor air is free of microbiological pollutants (moulds, dust mites, bacteria, etc.) and their metabolites (allergens, mycotoxins, microbial volatile organic compounds, endotoxins, etc.). However, the presence of micro-organisms in humanised environments has become a public health issue over the years.

If mould is present in an indoor space, it is advisable to request an analysis . It is also possible for you, as an occupational physician or prevention consultant, to take the necessary samples yourself. You can order the necessary materials and hire the equipment from Sciensano, after completing our training
